The property results list provide a selection for "retrieved" and/or "entered" properties as entered in the "Street Address" or "Formal Land Descriptions" fields from The Land - Specify Property screen.
Property results are returned from the Victorian Mapping and Addressing Services (VMAS). In many cases, the retrieved property address also links to a corresponding Planning Property Report which returns information on zones and overlays.
If a retrieved property is hyperlinked, you may view the Planning Property Report by clicking on the retrieved property address.
If a retrieved property is not hyperlinked, then this is an indication that there are multiple properties located at the same address. You may still select these properties, or you may choose to click "back" in order to supply more detailed information concerning the property (e.g. unit number of Lot/Plan details).
You can select any number of retrieved properties to continue with the application.
Property address results shown as 'Entered by User' reflect the property criteria entered on the previous screen and have not been validated against VMAS. This selection does not link to VMAS or the Planning Property Report and will not contain any information on zones and overlays.
If you believe the 'returned' property details are incorrect, review the criteria entered on the previous screen and modify if necessary.
For Planning Permit applications, if you select the "Entered by User" property result, you will only be able to complete that application form online. The application itself will need to be submitted and lodged with council offline (i.e. not via SPEAR).
